Where the answers live - and where collaboration & support is always within reach.

Your need for precision is our purpose.

Wine is one of the most measured, tested, and scrutinized beverages on earth - and yet at its heart, it's made by people who care deeply about what ends up in the glass. Admeo was born in that world. We started as an enology-focused and complete solution for the US wine industry, built to make quality testing simpler, smarter, and better supported.

Over time, something natural happened. The precision we brought to wine laboratories turned out to be exactly what producers of cider, beer, kombucha, and other fermented beverages needed too.

Then juice. Then food. We didn't chase those markets - they found us, because the science travels and the standard doesn't change. Today, Admeo serves quality control labortories across the full spectrum of fermented beverage production, juice processing, and food safety testing.

The name says it all. Admeo is Latin for "go-to" - and no matter how much we've grown, that's still exactly what we are.

NEW CAPABILITY

Gluten Testing: A New Frontier in Food Safety

One of the most exciting additions to the Admeo portfolio is our novel gluten test - bringing the same precision that wine laboratories have trusted for years to one of food safety's most critical challenges. For producers navigating gluten-free claims, regulatory compliance, and consumer trust, this is a meaningful step forward. It's newer territory for us - and we're proud to be in it.

We provide advanced biochemical analysis and automation systems - but technology is only part of what we bring.

We provide advanced biochemical analysis and automation systems - but technology is only part of what we bring.

We bring people who have stood in the same environments you work in, who understand what's at stake, and who stay engaged when the pressure is highest.

Margit

Margit Svenningsen

Co-Founder, Admeo Inc.

Margit brings over 3 decades of hands-on experience serving industries around the world - the last two decades focused solely on the US wine industry. She spent years at Calera Wine Company in Hollister, working alongside winemakers and building a genuine understanding of what happens in the cellar, not just the lab. That dual perspective - technical rigor and real-world winemaking - led to multiple wine applications and method developments, and ultimately to the founding of Admeo in 2013.

When BioSystems approached her to represent their enology program in the US, she saw an opportunity to build something the industry was missing: a true full-service solution, with local stock, deep application knowledge, and support that is reliable and available when you need it most.

OUR PARTNERS

Built together. Better for it.

Admeo has never operated alone - and that's entirely by design. Our work has always been shaped by the organizations we choose to stand alongside. Not vendors. Not suppliers. Partners in the truest sense - chosen for their science, their people, and the way they show up for customers.

  • PARTNER & CO-FOUNDERS SINCE 2013

Barcelona, Spain | Founded 1981 | Active in ~100 markets worldwide

If Admeo has a cofounder whose name may not appear on the original incorporation papers, it is BioSystems — a partner whose support, vision, and collaboration have been part of the company’s foundation from the very beginning. BioSystems approached us in 2013 to represent their enology program in the US and what made us say yes wasn't just the science - it was the people, and a shared ambition to build something genuinely useful for US wine laboratories, one customer at a time.

BioSystems has spent over four decades developing analytical solutions across biotechnology - but their enology program is something special. Built over nearly two decades of working directly alongside winemakers, it covers the entire vinification chain: from fermentation monitoring to finished product quality control. Their analyzers - the SPICA, Y15, Y200, and Y400 - are trusted in over 25,000 laboratories worldwide, and several of their methods carry OIV approval as official international standards. That's not marketing. That's a track record.

What has stayed constant throughout our partnership is the trust. BioSystems brings a team that responds - quickly, personally, and with real expertise. They visit. They co-visit with us. They listen directly to customers and markets, then move fast to bring new products to life. The business has grown, the product range has expanded, and our collective reach into the US wine market has become something we're genuinely proud of. And the relationship feels exactly as it did on day one.

  • PARTNER

Perugia, Italy | Precision laboratory instruments, made in Italy since 1959

The collaboration between Admeo and Steroglass began in 2025 with the goal of expanding the range of specialized solutions available to food, beverage and dairy laboratories. Together, the partnership delivers a broader portfolio of analytical and quality control instruments to better support existing customers while creating new opportunities across adjacent sectors of the food and beverage industry. The result: a fit, technically and personally, which felt immediately right. Instruments such as the EasyCheck for tartaric and calcium stability testing, the Flash 2 Autotitrator for titratable acidity, pH, chlorides, and SO₂ analysis, and the AWLife for water activity testing expand the analytical capabilities available to your food and beverage laboratory.

Admeo, BioSystems and Steroglass offer precise and reliable solutions to automate your laboratory and back it up with dependable and trustworthy support. Good chemistry. Good people. Good results. That's not a coincidence - it's how we choose who we work with.

Three companies. One team. Dedicated to your food and beverage laboratory - one number to call.
